  • What is included in the hire?

  • Can I hire for a short break in the Summer months?
    Bookings in summer months are ony available for week long hires (Friday to Friday)
  • Is there a security deposit?
    Yes. On collection of the motorhome, a security deposit of £1000 is required by credit or debit card. These funds will be pre-authorised and will only be accessed in the event of the motorhome not being returned in the same condition that it was rented in.
  • Are pets allowed?
    Yes! Alba Motorhome Hire welcome well behaved dogs into our motorhomes. There is an additional charge of £10 per day, or £50 minimum. it is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that any dog travelling in one of our motorhomes is properly restrained and that soft furnishings are covered.
  • Is bedding included in the hire?
    No. Bedding is not included as part of the rental costs, but can be added for £30 per double set and £20 for any additional single sets. The double bedding pack consists of a sheet, duvet, duvet cover, two pillow and pillowcases, two bath towels and two hand towels. The single bedding pack consists of a sheet, duvet, duvet cover, one pillow and pillowcase , one bath towel and one hand towel.
  • When does the balance require to be paid?
    All outstanding hire balances must be paid no later than 30 days prior to collection
  • What are the collection and return times?
    Motorhome collection is between 2 - 2:30pm Motorhome return is 10am
  • What happens if our booking has to be cancelled due to Covid?
    If there are any further Covid restrictions that mean you cannot travel, you will get a full refund, or you can transfer your booking to another date.
  • How old do you have to be to drive the motorhome?
    Drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 70, they must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of two years. They must hold a driving licence with entitlement to drive vehicles upto 3500kg MGVW and be able to produce a DVLA access code. For more drivers terms please see our terms and conditions.
